We invite you to join “Dry Martini, Two Olive Warblers” (Linda Arredondo, Maureen Daney and Linda Matson, “The Team”) when we bird Madera Canyon on April 12, 2018.
We are still growing our birding skills, so we decided to concentrate on our strengths …. culinary strengths, that is! After fueling up on homemade breakfast bars, The Team will get down to business and bird our way up the canyon, searching for Trogons, Tanagers, Hummingbirds, Warblers and whatnot. Next, we’ll search out a shady picnic table and enjoy a healthy, gourmet lunch. And while there will be no martini consumption during the Birdathon, when we get back to Tucson … who can say?

Birds have a unique, special, and different meaning to each of us. So too is each of our connection with Tucson Audubon Society personal and distinct. During Birdathon, we combine the love of bird watching during spring migration with support for bird conservation. Birdathoners are birders and social fundraisers, joining together to make a difference for the birds and habitats of southeast Arizona. Birdathoners continue a tradition that has held strong for over 30 years! Each Birdathoner's personal network of supporters is what helps makes Birdathon possible.
