Dear Friends and Family,

I am reaching out because I am raising $1500 for Tucson Audubon by participating in a Birdathon this month.  A Birdathon is a bit like a Walk-a-Thon except that birders are trying to see as many bird species as they can during a specific period of time.  My goal is to identify 100 bird species between April 7 and May 7.  

I am hoping that you will help me reach my goal for the birds we all love by making a donation or a pledge.  More than ever, we are all noticing how much joy we get from nature and from sounds and sights of the little flyers that populate our gardens and parks.  I am extremely motivated to reach my goal because I have just received a very generous challenge pledge of $10/per species that I can identify!!

Birds have a unique, special, and different meaning to each of us. So, too, is each of our connection with Tucson Audubon Society personal and distinct. During Birdathon, we combine the love of bird watching during spring migration with support for bird conservation.

Birdathoners are birders and social fundraisers, joining together to make a difference for the birds and habitats of Southeast Arizona. Birdathoners continue a tradition that has held strong for over 30 years! 

Each Birdathoner's personal network of supporters is what helps makes Birdathon possible.
