The Rosenbirders (Lee Rosenblum, Amy Rosenblum, Cesar "Rosenblum" Sepulveda, Diana Rosenblum, and Matt "Rosenblum" Batten) participated in their fifth annual Birdathon this year!
Their day began with a strong start at Sweetwater Wetlands and Christopher Columbus Park, where the team racked up a record (for them) number of species while birding responsibly.
Taking an afternoon interlude to backyard bird during the hottest part of the day, honorary team member, puppy Maize, helped to remind everyone to top off their feeders and find a shady spot to look for birdies.

The day concluded with a cool, evening walk through the neighborhood, and added a nighthawk to the team's species list.
Through the combined effort of five Birdathoners, five locations, and several hours of birding, the Rosenbirders found over 40 species of birds for an incredible Birdathon and overall awesome day.

Birdathoners are birders and social fundraisers, joining together to make a difference for the birds and habitats of Southeast Arizona. Birdathoners continue a tradition that has held strong for over 30 years!
Each Birdathoner's personal network of supporters is what helps makes Birdathon possible.
