Field Trip - Whitewater Draw Global IBA Celebrating Cranes event

Celebrating the Sandhill Cranes at Whitewater Draw WA Global IBA
Tucson Audubon is partnering with the University of Arizona for an event to celebrate flight and migration. UofA Creative Writing and Dance undergradate students will be coming to Whitewater Draw WA Global IBA to experience and be inspired by Sandhill Cranes for creative themes of flight and migration. Tucson Audubon will be presenting natural history information on Sandhill Cranes and leading two bird walks during the day. At the end of the day the students will perform some of the writing and dance they have developed at the event and birders are welcome to attend this as well.
Those that sign up will receive information about the whole day's schedule and you are welcome to attend any portion of the day's events that you would like.
10am-noon: Presentations on Sandhill Crane natural history, the history of Whitewater Draw WA, information on creative process for wrinting and dance.
12:30pm-2pm: Bird walk #1
3:30pm-5pm: Bird Walk #2
5pm-6pm: Student performances.
